the highest floor of the main castle houses multiple classrooms and other locations of note.

the sixth floor isn't quite as noteworthy as the seventh, but there are still many places for students to explore.

on the fifth floor can be found a few classrooms as well as the prefect's bathroom.

it is on the fourth floor that the top half of the library, aka the restricted section, is located.

located on the third floor are multiple classrooms, the trophy room, and the main portion of the library.

one of the lower floors of hogwarts with decidedly less of a view from its windows.

the first floor of the castle is easily the busiest in terms of usable rooms. there's no danger of getting lost on the grand staircases here- well, unless you're coming down from an upper floor.

the first floor below ground level, the basement is a far cheerier place than the dungeons underneath. it contains two of the best rooms in the school- the kitchen and the hufflepuff commons room.

the groundskeeper's hut hasn't changed much since hagrid took residence in it. the groundskeeper of hogwarts lives here, on the outskirts of the forbidden forest.

all quidditch matches are held here, watched by the entire student and staff body. the pitch is always open should students wish to hang out in the stands or get in some extra practice.

located to the south of hogwarts, this cold lake is the one first year students cross each september on their first journey to the castle. it is said that the giant squid resides within its dark depths, as well as colonies of merpeople. swimming is not encouraged- in fact, it's forbidden, but who really listens to rules anyway?

though this is a new generation the forbidden forest is still off-limits to students. to be caught out in the forest alone by a teacher is to sign yourself up for a month's worth of detentions, so be careful.

this little wizarding district is the go-to location for all wizarding needs. families most often bring their children here for supplies for the next school year, but there is plenty to do here the rest of the year, too.

many jobs in the wizarding world are connected to the ministry and their offices are located in this gigantic building, accessed only through special channels such as 'public toilets', floo powder, or a certain payphone.

st. mungo's, though not the only wizarding hospital to exist. is certainly the best. you don't really want to come here, unless it's for your career. while they treat injuries well, who wants to be hurt or sick?

london needs no introduction. few muggle residents realized exactly how much of their population are wizards.

Sub-board: • PLATFORM NINE AND THREE-QUARTERS

this peaceful little town is famous in the wzizarding world for three events, two of which most wish had never occurred. this is the place where harry potter was born, where his parents died, and now where the boy who lived himself perished a short time ago, shaking the peaceful community to its core.

there are several quidditch teams throughout the wizarding world, each with their own pitch where they practice for upcoming matches.
