[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=algin,center] | [style=width:210px; background-color: #4c4143; font-family: arial; font-size: 10px; text-transform: lowercase; text-align: justify; color: #000000;margin-left: -225px; margin-top: -20px; overflow:auto; height: 300px;]michael kyle preece's seventh year started off exactly opposite to how he thought it was going to start. complaining about how some stupid first year almost pushed him off the train as he was looking around was... well, not going to help matters. what was supposed to happen? was a prefect going to take away points from a student before the term started? and how was that prefect supposed to know what house they were in before the sorting ceremony? none of it made any sense, so it was wise for the seventh year to just keep his damn mouth shut and not try to get some eager first year busted. besides... he'd probably find out that the student would be sorted into gryffindor. and then, he'd probably soil himself. as the student walked into the common room (after giving out the term's password), he found that the place was suspiciously quiet. he knew that the school's elves had brought in everyone's luggage and placed them in their respective dorms, but not seeing anyone in the common room was depressing, to say the least. maybe there was someone in a dorm somewhere up the staircase. he wasn't sure, and he wasn't going to find out - especially if there was someone of the female populace around there somewhere. instead, he thought of a better idea. if there was supposed to be some life in the common room, michael decided that maybe he should create it. there was just one little problem, however. michael just wasn't the kind of person who would bring life to a location. he was the anti-social gryffindor, and there was no chance in hell that he would make a place more lively. don't i have homework to take care of? no? damn it. so what did he do? he flopped on the couch in the common room and closed his eyes. someone (or more than one someone, he wasn't sure) would come in eventually. they'd liven the place up. maybe make a "welcome to term" party. the only question was... would the preece boy attend a party that he probably wouldn't help plan? that was a probable no, at the rate this was going... |
