This is Dareious. Dareious Lyulf Greyback to be exact. He is sixteen (seventeen late June), in Ravenclaw and half werewolf...though his name probably gave that away. His name, interestingly enough, means to possess the good fire wolf, if you marry up his first and middle name that is. Though, in all honesty, were you to ask anyone he's not exactly good. He's not what you'd call an active rebel (if anything, he's positively a dream child in so many ways) but he has inherited a short fuse. And over the summer there was...an incident, shall we say. In said incident, his beloved mother and wicked step-father both died and initially Dareious was blamed for both deaths. Though, eventually the truth came out and as it turned out, Dareious was the victim in it all, having suffered for year upon year at the hand of his step-father who, in a fit of misplaced rage, killed his mother and attacked Dare. Unfortunately for him, he picked the day of the full moon to turn on the young man and picked up a violent backlash. In the end, Dareious was labelled as 'mentally unstable' and released to his father, Fenrir, whom he has been with since. Teetering on the knife edge between two worlds, Dareious is not the person people remember.
Friends used to be easy for Dare to come by; he was once bubbly and outgoing with an irritating habit of talking far too quickly and switching between Welsh and English mid-conversation to confuse people. These days though...these days you'd be lucky to get full sentences out of him, if anything at all. He's withdrawn and quick to swing from tolerant to pinning you against a wall. These mood swings are unpredictable and have so far only been kept in check by Fenrir. Oh, Seyton too. So, if you get really stuck, someone needs to get to the infirmary and fast for his eldest brother. Out of courtesy, he plays with listening to his older siblings, though they're very hit and miss. Friends he used to have may well start to avoid him, unless they were around him to study with. Dare has retreated further into his studies and the predictability that books offer. His grades were always good, but he's almost obsessive these days.
Enemies used to be rare. Blood purists and maybe those who hated the optimistic, though these days? Well, with that habit of turning on you and pushing people away, they're bound to come pouring in. He's a Greyback, he's virtually unhinged and some people prefer the story that he killed in favour of the truth. So hate away, he'll either attack you or ignore you depending on his mood.
And as for lovers? Well, if you like crazy or cruel then sure, go ahead if you think you stand a chance. He'll probably shut you down. He does, however, have a thing for both teams, so don't count yourself out if you're a guy. Don't worry either girls, you stand an equally slim chance. The truth is, a snowball stands a better chance of surviving hell than you do of being with him. If you are, don't expect a repeat performance. Once is all you need.
